There’s something undeniably enchanting about blending love stories with timeless spaces and this engagement session at the iconic Tampa Theatre was nothing short of magical.
Before we stepped into the historic charm of the theatre, Raichel’s day began with a little pampering. Her hair was beautifully styled by Taryn Ventura, while her makeup was flawlessly done by her sister, Tanah Ventura. The combination created a soft, romantic look that perfectly complemented both Raichel’s natural beauty and the vintage elegance of the venue. They also styled Drake before we set off to the Tampa Theatre for our one hour photo and video engagement shoot.
Once inside the Tampa Theatre, every corner offered a cinematic backdrop. We started in the bathroom where Raichel and Drake changed into their bride and groom outfits. CeceTay Productions was able to caption a gorgeous moment with drake in front of the vintage mirror right outside the mens bathroom.
On our way up the historic staircase, where the ornate details and dramatic architecture set the tone for a truly elevated session. Raichel and her fiancé shared quiet, intimate moments as we captured them framed by the theatre’s timeless design.
From there, we moved into the seats, where the atmosphere shifted into something cozy and nostalgic. Standing, sitting, running, laughing, and stealing glances, they looked like they were in their own classic love story unfolding on screen.
The magic continued on the historic stage. Standing where so many performances have taken place, their connection took center stage, literally. The grandeur of the space paired with their genuine emotion made for some of the most breathtaking images of the day.
Of course, we couldn’t miss the theatre’s iconic organ. This unique feature added a playful yet elegant touch to the session, giving their gallery a distinctive Tampa flair that simply can’t be recreated anywhere else.
